Vicki has been a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer and businesswoman for over 20 years and has been sharing her knowledge and experiences with students through both dance and classroom workshops
Bam Bam Boogies is her performing dance company, specialising mostly in the preservation of Hip Hop Culture and how it has become as popular as it is today

She has been running the company since 2004 and has been fortunate enough to perform and work alongside the biggest names in the business, including MTV, O2, ITV2, Sky 1 and many UK Festivals / Club venues, as well as winning a mentoring Business award & crowned Nations Best Dance Crew in 2012
Her dance background is mostly influenced by: Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Prince, James Brown and many more. She holds an Associate level qualification as a dance teacher & has represented genres of dance such as Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle & Street Dance across many dance boards (N.A.T.D, UKA & ISTD)
Vicki has travelled around the world to be personally trained (and continues to be mentored) by The Electric Boogaloos (Popping & Boogaloo), Jeffrey Daniel (Shalamar and choreographer to Michael Jackson) as well as other pioneers / innovators in the dance including The Twilight Players (Locking / Popping), Tyrone Proctor, Archie Burnett, Kumari Suraj & Princess Lockeroo (Waacking), The Lockers (Locking) and Elite Force (Hip-Hop). Her performance journey has seen her tour all over Asia & Europe since 1999 both as an individual artist & as a part of corporate companies / agencies
Past success of Bam Bam Boogies includes Vicki opening up a purpose-built studio in 2009 called V Dance Studio, which enabled dance enthusiasts to learn Street Dance & other influential dance styles from an array of professional teachers, such as Bollywood, Zumba and much more!!
V Dance Studio & Bam Bam Boogies has since merged and is primarily now known as the latter, in which the Bam Bam Boogies resident out of a couple of studios in Chelmsford, as well as travel around Essex, London & the UK to teach & share knowledge in Street Dance culture
Since 2017 Bam Bam Boogies have been recognised as a Community Interest Company (CIC) where the priority is to keep the interest of Street Dance, Hip Hop Culture and physical activity at the forefront of our ethos as a company to support our communities
Vicki now focuses on choreographic, teaching & mentoring work as well as work alongside School Boards, Charities, Health Clubs & Private Social Groups not only to promote the Street/Hip-Hop dance elements and offer motivational speaking, but also to encourage dance as a physical activity as well as a performing art
EMMA
Emma began training with the Bam Bam Boogies in 2004 when she was just 7 years old
From then Emma has dedicated a huge part of her life to dance, training to specialise in the Street Styles as a dancer herself but also now as a teacher to many children and adults alike.
As a dancer Emma has had the opportunity to perform in an array of different venues, some of her most memorable performances include:

- Chelmsford’s Christmas Lights

Dancing with Bam Bam Boogies has also given Emma the opportunity to be trained by many of the original pioneers and innovators of the Street Dance styles including Poppin’ Pete, The Twilight Players, Jeffery Daniel, Hiro, Princess Lockeroo, Elite Force and many more
At age 16 Emma began her teaching career with a passion to pass her skills and knowledge onto others. Since then Emma has taken on choreographic projects such as theatre shows, competitions, and showcases, her choreography has featured on stages such as ‘Move It’ and ‘Disneyland Paris’
Emma continues to train and grow as a dancer alongside teaching and spreading the love of Street Dance with the aim to inspire other generations (both younger and older) to share the funk
ASH-LEE
Ash-Lee is a professional B-Boy who has been dancing and teaching for over 15 years
He is part of the crew Methods of Movement and has worked and performed all over the world for various companies including Sky, Adidas, Footlocker, Monster Energy Drink and Disney to name but a few.
In 2012 with his crew Methods of Movement they reached the final of “Got To Dance” which was aired on Sky 1. One year later, they were invited back to be a part of the ‘Super Crew’ to perform on one of the live semi-finals. In 2016 Methods of Movement also appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent” performing with their younger crew
As well as being the Bam Bam Boogies’ resident B-Boy Teacher for over 10 years, Ash-Lee runs his own entertainment business “Ash-Lee Entertainment” with his best friend Chris aka Crazy Popper
Darcie
Darcie is trained in the styles from Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Street, Commercial and Tap since the age of six
After gaining an A* in A-Level Dance, it furthered her to study at Bird College Conservatoire of Dance and Musical Theatre (London) for 4 years where she progressed her training in all genres of dance, Musical Theatre & Acting (for both Stage and Television) obtaining a Degree with Honours.
Darcie was lucky enough to have various incredible opportunities at college working with some of the top Teachers & Directors in the industry
Since her successful outcome of College, Darcie has found a passion for fitness and completed a Level 3 Personal Training Qualification which she implements in her teaching, helping the students with strength, conditioning and stretching techniques
Darcie loves being a member of the Bam Bam Boogies family & compliments our teaching styles immensely with her expertise. It has brought a great grace & diversity to our strengthening team
Chloe
Dance has been a part of Chloe’s life since she was 5 years old. She began training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz & Street Dance and has been with the Bam Bam Boogies since 2011, from the age of 14 years old. From 2016 – 2018, Chloe led, trained and choreographed the Hip-Hop Squad at her University Dance Club (University of Northampton) achieving 1st place medals in competitions two years in a row. She is now one of the Bam Bam Boogies’ most experienced dancers & has been teaching / choreographing for showcases & productions since 2018.

Brenden
Brenden has trained as a student with the Bam Bam Boogies since the age of 12 and within that time has become highly proficient in the Street Styles of Popping, Locking, House Hip-Hop and Breakin’.
In recent years he has become a valued dancer / performer of the Bam Bam Boogies Dance Company & joined the team as an assistant teacher, teaching students from the age of 2, all the way through the TEEN and specialising in most street styles but predominantly Commercial & Breakin’.
The Bam Bam Boogies are very happy to announce the impacts of our home grown talent & Brenden will now be holding his own class on Wednesdays!
Megan
Megan started dancing at the age of 6 and has trained in a number of various styles including Ballroom & Latin, Freestyle Disco, Contemporary
and now continuing her training with Bam Bam Boogies since the beginning of 2018 in all of the Street Styles.
Her most recent performances with Bam Bam Boogies included MOVE IT 2022 (London, UK), Disneyland Paris in 2019 and a variety of local events & festivals including Street Eats ’n’ Beats and the Chelmsford City Christmas Light Switch On.
She has been lucky enough to be trained by some of the pioneers and innovators of Street Dance including: Jeffrey Daniel, Archie Burnett, Jimmy Williams, Bagsy and many more!
From September 2021, she embraced her passion for Street Dance and wanted to teach the younger generation her love for dance. Since then, she is now teaching & developing her skills as a dance teacher’s assistant with the Bam Bam Boogies.
